The immortelle is native to the Mediterranean area, it is easily recognized by its velvety silver leaves and its small golden yellow flowers.
Its name comes from the Greek “helios” which means sun and “chrysos” which means golden.
It blooms in summer and gives off a characteristic curry smell. Its common name refers to the flowers that do not wither but rather dry and maintain their color and aroma for a long period of time. Properties:
